The Research Builder You Need
I’m an early-career astrophysics researcher building across observational astronomy, signal analysis, and accessible scientific systems. My work already spans galaxy-scale variable star research and original tool design for periodic signal interpretation.
Scientific Vision
I’m building toward a long-term path in astrophysics research, advanced study, and space-focused technical systems. I think in terms of where the work can lead, not just what it is today.
Technical Depth
My interests sit inside real scientific problems: variable stars, stellar behavior, periodic signals, and observational data. I want depth in both astrophysics and the computational methods around it.
Team Fluency
I’ve worked under mentors and alongside peer cohorts in research settings. I know how to contribute within a structured scientific team while owning my part of the work.
Original Thinking
I’m drawn to approaches that are distinctive rather than interchangeable. The patent work reflects that instinct to create new methods, not just repeat existing ones.
Human Access
I care about who gets to participate in science and how tools can lower barriers. Accessibility matters to me because it changes who can learn, contribute, and discover.
Reliable Delivery
I’m known for finishing what I start and staying precise under deadlines. I take follow-through seriously, especially when the work matters.
Good science should be rigorous enough to hold up and clear enough to open doors.✨
Research Rigor, Built Into Systems
My work starts with the discipline of research and extends into the design of tools that make insight easier to reach. I’m interested in scientific depth, but also in how systems can widen access without reducing rigor.
Observe Precisely
I work from real astronomical data and research questions rather than abstraction alone. My focus is on careful observation, comparison, and interpretation.
Analyze Patterns
I study time-series behavior, brightness variation, and signal structure to uncover meaningful patterns. I approach data as something to interrogate, not just display.
Build Access
I design ideas that make scientific interpretation more usable for broader audiences. Accessibility is part of the system, not an afterthought.
Extend Research
I want research to lead into tools, exploration, and practical space-facing systems. The long arc is discovery translated into capability.
I’m most useful when a scientific question needs both careful analysis and a more original way of being explored.✨
A Disciplined Approach
How I Work
Study
I start by understanding the scientific question, the data source, and the constraints around interpretation.
Clarity before execution.
Analyze
I examine patterns carefully, compare methods, and look for what the data is actually saying.
Precision over assumption.
Build
When a better method is needed, I think in systems and create ways to make analysis stronger or more accessible.
Originality with purpose.
Finish
I follow through, meet deadlines, and make sure the work is complete, usable, and presented clearly.
Finish what you start.

Finding and Characterizing Variable Stars in M31
This project focused on identifying variable stars in the Andromeda Galaxy using difference image analysis across PHAT image data. I helped collect, identify, and analyze variable star data by comparing images across time and examining brightness changes. The work also involved understanding how PSF variation affects residuals and how stars can be placed on color-magnitude diagrams for interpretation. It gave me direct exposure to observational astrophysics research under faculty and mentor guidance.
Impact: Contributed to team presentation later represented at AAS | Supported data collection for paper in progress
System and Method Facilitating Analysis of Periodic Signals
I developed a provisional patent centered on improving how periodic signals from variable star data are interpreted. The system synchronizes spectral analysis with psychoacoustically mapped audio and visual outputs, converting dominant periodic components into sound to make pattern recognition more intuitive. The idea was designed not only for scientific usefulness, but also for accessibility, especially for beginners and visually impaired users. It reflects my interest in building tools that expand who can participate in technical research.
Impact: Filed provisional patent in 2025 | Extended variable star analysis into accessible tool design
Space Enthusiasts Forum
I founded an online community for students and enthusiasts interested in astrophysics and cosmology. The goal was to create a space where curiosity could be sustained through discussion, shared learning, and exposure to scientific ideas beyond formal coursework. Building the forum taught me how to translate technical interest into community energy. It also reflects my long-term interest in creating teams around specialized scientific work.
Impact: Built a 200+ member science community | Created a sustained peer-learning space around astronomy
